Eighty percent of the world's wastewater is discharged back into nature without reuse and further treatment solid byproduct either spread on land or landfilled. The valorization municipal sewage sludge for energy use a major opportunity sustainable applications. This includes effective dewatering drying in addition to producing biogas during anaerobic digestion. Supercritical CO 2 extraction process was investigated purpose sludge. Remarkably our results showed that after sCO2 processing higher heating value (HHV) at wet basis moisture content 52% 14 MJ/kg thus than HHV brown coal with similar level (12 MJ/kg). Our research also shows under specific conditions reduces from 89% 53% 15 min. Although, more needed this could be considerably less intensive conventional thermal other processes.
